Foothills Fibre is the Foothills County owned Fibre Optic Internet Service. It is currently providing internet and telephone to over 40 commercial businesses in the Highway 2A industrial corridor. The project was created in response to the businesses in that area coming to council many times over the years seeking help finding reliable internet.
Now that Foothills Fibre is operational and a success. We have plans to expand the service to more businesses and provide residential internet, telephone and television services in the future.
